Iyla Goes to the Dentist

Today Iyla is taking a trip to the dentist's office. As it is her first visit she's a little bit scared. But with the help of her dentist, Iyla learns about the steps of a dental check-up and gets to see all of the neat tools and equipment used during a dental examination. Iyla soon discovers that going to the dentist to have her teeth checked is both easy and fun!

About the Author

Dr. Batool Kazmi is a first-time author, dentist and busy mom of two young children. She was raised in Calgary, Alberta, where she completed her BSc and a Master's degree from the University of Calgary. She went on to graduate from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. She now maintains a dental practice in Kamloops, BC, along with her husband, Dr. Justin Gill.
